This was a repeat of a hike we did in June of 2020 .  Though there isn't a lot of snow here at home, it was cold and blustery and we came prepared for some snow on the ground.  It was VERY windy all the way to the park and I feared that it might be so blustery and cold that we would have no desire to actually do the walk. Another minimal hike, this one was a substitute for Sterling Nature Center which was too far away to make happen.  We used AllTrails to look for close by trails and this park was close.  At first it wasn't clear that their was enough of a path through the snow to be doable, it was quite deep.  We walked down the park road (which was plowed) and then ended up on a different trail which ultimately ended up back at the parking lot where the car was.  We actually ended up walking back on the same trail that seemed too snowy at first.

This would hardly qualify as a hike if it weren't for the deep fresh snow.  And it was beautiful.
